Welcome to NIS Honor Society

Congratulations! 

You have been selected for membership in the Navarro Intermediate Chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society. Your selection was based upon careful consideration of your scholarship, responsibility, service, leadership, and character by our Faculty Council.

A formal induction ceremony will be held at the Navarro Intermediate Cafeteria on Thursday, November 19, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. Attendance at the ceremony is required in order to become a member. Additional information will be provided to all confirmed participants at a later date.

Our first chapter meeting for members will be after school until 4:00 P.M.

on Wednesday, Nov. 4th in Mrs. McCaig’s room.  Please see the attached calendar of events for future meeting dates.

Please return the attached RSVP form for the induction ceremony and $16 for your chapter dues (cash or check) to one of the chapter advisers listed below, no later than

Monday, Nov. 2nd.  Checks should be made payable to Navarro Intermediate National Honor Society or you can pay through a link that will be available in the 26-27 NIS National Honor Society ParentSquare group. The chapter dues are used to fund the induction ceremony (refreshments and your Honor Society certificate and pin).  Financial assistance is available if needed.  Please contact Mrs. Spreen.
